True Zero Technologies is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Director of Sales and Licensing.  This position will be responsible for direct sales with clients, building and leading a world class sales team and supporting and closely coordinating with the sales engineer teams for a select number of primary product application firms in the market.  We are first and foremost seeking a candidate that is knowledgeable and proficient with the Splunk product suite being able to speak fluently about product features, use cases, solutions, applications as well as articulate compelling Splunk differentiators and product positioning to both business and technical users. The candidate will be responsible for the full sales life cycle from lead generation through deal close. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for deal registrations, P&L tracking/reporting, and working closely with the True Zero Professional Service team on technical guidance and service opportunities.  Finally, person selected will identify new emerging technologies and build out sales capabilities and pipeline around those products, assisting in the growth of the True Zero brand and capabilities.

Job Requirements: 

  • 5+ Years of direct sales experience, specifically with the Splunk product line
  • Prior sales territory connections, specifically within the Federal marketplace
  • Fluent in IT and Splunk technologies
  • Able to travel, conduct demonstrations/presentations, and be very well spoken.

Highly desirable attributes:

  • Highly knowledgeable of Federal Government buying process and sales cycle
  • Practical experience reviewing and drafting responses to Federal requests for information and requests for proposals
  • Possess strong existing relationships with key prime contact resellers holding important contract vehicles
  • Passionate about crafting client-ready presentations, whitepapers, discussion documents, and RFP responses that are appropriately scoped, technically accurate, and structurally and grammatically precise
  • Validated experience communicating the business value of a technical solution via executive-level briefings to CIO, CISO, CIO, technical partners, etc.
  • Committed to delivering software or other technical demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences. In depth Splunk experience is highly desirable
  • Experience administering both Linux or Windows systems
  • Experience writing code / scripting to automate common tasks (Python, bash, Ruby, etc.)
  • Collaborative experience at a Federal Systems Integrator in a client-facing technical role
  • Prior experience using Splunk in an operational context
  • Experience designing and implementing analytic dashboards or other visualization tools

 

Educational Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree (Computer Science or related IT oriented degree highly desirable but not a firm requirement), or comparable work experience.

  • Prior account financials to demonstrate capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize business plans, establish sales goals, and strategies
  • Prior technical hands on experience is a plus.
